Flu Season is right around the corner and now is the time to make sure you are protected. The Russell County Health Department has Flu shots available for all ages. Our mission is to promote wellness, prevent disease, and protect the health of all citizens of Russell County and the surrounding areas, and to empower all citizens to make responsible decisions through health education, using public health functions of assessment, assurance, and policy development.

Insurance

Our office excepts insurance policies from a wide range of companies. Please check with your insurance company before your appointment to confirm that the service provided by the Russell County Health Department will be covered by your policy.  Fees that are not covered by your insurance will become the policy holder's responsibility.
